1.Roundtrip to Tabarca Island

★★★★★★★★★★4.3 · 3,992 reviews · 6 hours · from $28Our pick

Travel from Alicante to Tabarca Island on a one-hour ferry with indoor and open-deck seating. You get free time to walk the village, visit the lighthouse, swim from rocky coves, or eat at a local restaurant. This is independent transport, not a guided tour. Only two of the three boats have glass-bottom viewing areas.

“Great inexpensive trip. Well organised. The island was extremely busy. The beaches were ok, but mainly shingle. Lots of little shops, bars and cafes. Snorkelling looked amazing, so many fish and clear sea. Pleased we went but won’t do it again. We should have checked as thought the boat was constantly running to and from the island. Had to wait until 4 o’clock for the first pick up (from Tabarca). It was very busy and I believe many had to wait for the later boat. Completely our faults for not researching more.”

The tour itself was wonderful, Alberto is a very engaging tour guide who took us through the whole process of how they make the wines, which were delicious and came with some nibbles. It's a small group of 7-8 people so plenty of time to ask your own questions. The setting is beautiful,…”
