“The trip was beautiful and we saw some turtles and pilot whales. The crew were really careful around the sea life and turned off the engines as soon as they felt they should. They were helpful and kind. One thing you need to be aware of (and there are plenty of warnings on the booking) is that it is very rough far out into the ocean and a fair few people were very seasick. It’s a wonderful trip and the crew were absolutely amazing with everyone who was ill but don’t let it ruin your trip and take tablets beforehand. Thank you to the crew for looking after my son…”
Ride by coach into Teide National Park, then take the cable car to 3,555 metres for island views. “Have used GYG 8 times to date and are always happy with them. Good communication about pick-up points, on time, comfortable coach. Very good and knowledgeable guide (Laura) and driver (Caramelo). Interesting trip. There were 4 breaks, we would have preferred maybe 2 breaks so we could spend more time at the Visitor Centre which was really interesting. Unfortunately the cable car was closed as it was very windy but GYG refunded the money very speedily. Recommended.”
