You will cross hanging bridges, follow the Monachil River, squeeze through narrow sections, and climb to wide Sierra Nevada views. Walk the 7.7-kilometer Caminito del Rey in Andalusia on a guided route about 100 meters above the gorge. Your ticket, helmet, audio system, insurance, and English or Spanish guide are included. If you can do this long walk it is well worth it, however, other tour groups appeared to be getting far more information stops and our guide had no interest in keeping the group together, she was unconcerned about the slower members of the group. We were very fortunate to see the mountain goats. Beautiful animals. Temperature in the mountains was cooler than down in Granada and there was a pleasant breeze so it was also a nice escape from the heat of the city.
