Spend one hour at Teatro Flamenco Malaga watching professional dancers, singers, and guitarists perform Esencia, a changing flamenco production in a small central venue. Expect close views, dramatic costumes, strong vocals, and plenty of emotion. Drinks are available at the bar, but food is not served.

At El Gallo Ronco, beside Malaga’s Calle Larios, you’ll watch a one-hour flamenco performance in a small tablao with dancers, a singer, and a guitarist. Meet Caterina at Galerías Goya, near Plaza de la Constitución, for a 45-minute beginner flamenco rumba class. She teaches simple arm and foot movements, adds music and a short choreography, and may use fans, shawls, or hats for photos. The small group is limited to seven and the class is offered in English or Spanish.
